Mark Walker

Mark Walker came to Forensics Consulting Solutions as a Senior Consultant with more than twenty years in litigation support services, including time he spent as a trial paralegal, logging more than thirty commercial trials, the corporate law department, and Director of Litigation Technology and Support in the law firm environment.  Mark’s responsibilities included handling and coordinating litigation support services.  After joining FCS in early 2007, Mark’s extensive knowledge of legal technology soon became apparent and he was quickly promoted to Director of our Consulting Services organization.  In his current position, Mark interfaces with law firms and corporations to develop and manage technology solutions to meet our clients’ needs.

Mark’s consulting group of senior ESI Consultants provides FCS clients e-Discovery services in both reactive and proactive litigation support, including but not limited to, the following type of services:

Roland J. Bernier III Esq.

Roland Bernier came to FCS with a long history of using technology to solve problems for attorneys and their clients.  He has been involved in managing the technical challenges associated with large, complex discovery projects for more than thirteen years.  He has played integral parts in the development of document review applications and electronic discovery processing platforms.  An attorney who has been a programmer and database administrator, Roland incorporates his knowledge of both the technical and legal issues in crafting solutions.

 Roland has helped clients to:
 
  • Develop and implement processes for the preservation and collection of data
  • Design appropriate procedures for accurately processing, searching and culling data in preparation for review or production
  • Construct methodologies for systematically extracting data from difficult repositories
  • Establish proactive procedures to attain litigation readiness
  • Prepare strategies for Rule 26 conferences
  • Confer with counsel on motions and other documents pertaining to e-discovery issues

Roman Coleman joins Forensics Consulting Solutions with a notable background as a technically savvy, Six Sigma Certified, legal and compliance leader.  His extensive experience in managing and directing complex projects for organizations such as GE Capital, Coca-Cola, Qwest Communications and SunTrust, qualifies Roman as an excellent addition to the ESI Consultant Team at FCS. 

Roman’s qualifications include a strong background in information governance. Roman has been a key player in the deployment of enterprise records and information management programs for three Fortune 500 companies since 2006.  Roman’s expertise includes:

  • Building an effective enterprise Records and Information Management (RIM) department that brings electronically stored information under control
  • Promoting efficient records management to minimize legal risk and maximize information management opportunities
  • Revising and updating corporate records retention schedules to ensure compliance with all applicable laws
  • Implementing an enterprise litigation hold process with IT, in-house, and outside counsel
  • Training and Awareness for employees on managing records and information
  • Technology assessment and vendor selection including the RFI, RFP, POC processes
  • Integrating RIM with an “effective compliance program” using the Federal Sentencing Guidelines Chapter Eight criteria

Terry Walker has an impeccable reputation in the field of E-Discovery and Electronically Stored
Information (ESI) management. As the newest member of the ESI Consultant Team for
Forensics Consulting Solutions, Terry will utilize the skills he has developed over the years to
assist our clients in deploying best practices with regard to information governance. His long
career with document management and litigation support extends from paper to digital. Terry’s
certification as a Document Imaging Architect sets him apart as an industry expert. As a
certified AIIM Enterprise Content Management Practitioner, Terry has the ability to help clients
focus in, past the superfluous content, to the heart of the Electronically Stored Information and
assist them to better understand the lifecycle of ESI.


Terry’s expertise in managing large complex projects, with a focus on litigation readiness, ESI,
and data management, promises to be a great asset to our elite clientele.
